In 2012, the output value of the solar photovoltaic industry in Dongguan could reach 25 billion yuan
Dongguan has locked in the solar photovoltaic industry to do key development. As one of the eight strategic emerging industries in Dongguan, how to make a breakthrough in the solar photovoltaic industry?
Yesterday, 2010 "Dongguan Innovation Forum" the 20th activity - "Thin film solar cell technology Progress and equipment" forum was held in the city Science and Technology Museum. Reporters learned from the forum that the output value of Dongguan's solar photovoltaic industry is expected to reach 25 billion yuan by 2012. Among them, to build more than 10 solar cell production lines, annual output of thin film solar cells more than 1.5GW, thin film solar cells output value of 10 billion yuan. The output value of battery related industries such as equipment, glass and inverter systems is 15 billion yuan. Dongguan will strive to become the largest thin film solar photovoltaic industry base in Guangdong Province and even in China.
This forum is sponsored by the Municipal Association for Science and Technology, the Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology, the Municipal Museum of Science and Technology, the Municipal Association of Science and Technology Department, the Municipal Association of Invention, Dongguan Hongwei Digital Machinery Co., Ltd. and the Dongguan Scientists Club jointly organized. More than 100 members of the Municipal Association of Invention and related associations, technicians from Dongguan Hongwei Digital Machinery Co., LTD., Kangda Electromechanical and other related enterprises, teachers from Dongguan Institute of Technology and citizens attended the forum.
Sustainable development requires complete equipment capacity
Yesterday came to the forum to speak, are the industry's bigwigs.
Yang Mingsheng, chief engineer and Doctor of Dongguan Hongwei Digital Machinery Co., LTD., Professor Peng Junbiao, Deputy director of Institute of Polymer Optoelectronic Materials and Devices, South China University of Technology, Ma Zhimin, general manager of Risen Corporation, Yang Huidong, professor of College of Information Science and Technology, Jinan University and many other experts gathered in Dongguan. They conducted reports, discussions and interactive exchanges on topics such as the latest progress and equipment of thin film solar cell technology at home and abroad.
In recent years, Hongwei Digital Machinery Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as Hongwei Digital) frequently layout photovoltaic base. As its technical director, Yang Mingsheng introduced the current market conditions of various devices and the development status of the industry. "Complete equipment capability is the only way to scale at a low cost," he said. Therefore, Dongguan enterprises should make great efforts in independent equipment design, manufacturing and integration ability.
At present, Hongwei has successfully developed the first full-automatic production line of amorphous silicon thin-film solar cells with its own intellectual property rights in China. "Production technology and product performance design index have reached the international advanced level." Yang Mingsheng revealed that this production system has also been rated the fourth in the world by the international famous market research company.
Dongguan enterprises should keep up with the international new production materials
There are 136 countries working on solar photovoltaic technology.
Ma, who has more than 10 years of research experience, brings you the latest news. He says there are now three dominant technologies for thin-film solar: amorphous silicon, copper indium gallium selenide and cadmium telluride. In actual production, amorphous silicon and cadmium telluride are also commonly used.
However, both techniques have obvious disadvantages. Ma said that the use of amorphous silicon, the conversion rate is low, consumables large. With cadmium telluride, toxic cadmium and telluride materials must be disposed of and recycled after 25 years of use.
Therefore, the mainstream of the next generation of new thin-film solar cells is the use of copper indium gallium selenide materials. "This material not only has a high conversion rate, but it also has the lowest production cost." Ma said that compared with traditional materials, copper indium gallium selenide solar has the advantages of high current density, low cost and suitable for large-scale production.
The research and development and application of new materials also solve the "bottleneck" of the development of solar photovoltaic industry, and achieve low cost and industrial mass production. Ma suggested that when entering the solar photovoltaic industry, new production materials should be closely selected.
Strive to be the largest photovoltaic industry base in China
At present, Dongguan thin film solar photovoltaic industry has been successfully selected as the province's first batch of strategic emerging industries.
The municipal government has also made it clear that it will concentrate its financial resources and focus on supporting the construction of a solar photovoltaic industry base and three parks as well as major projects. Perfect financial, financial and land preferential policies are provided to leading enterprises such as Dongguan Hongwei, Dongguan Southern Glass, Xinyi Glass, Zhicheng Champion, Five Star Solar, Spark Solar, Maike Technology, etc.
Through the supporting support of policy, capital, technology and talents, Dongguan strives to make great strides in the solar photovoltaic industry. According to the people at the forum, the output value of Dongguan's solar photovoltaic industry is expected to reach 25 billion yuan by 2012.
